Coca-Cola Commits $10 Billion to US Infrastructure by 2030
Coca-Cola has announced plans to invest $10 billion in US infrastructure by 2030. The investment will cover projects across various states, including California, Colorado, Alabama, and New York. This system-wide figure includes capital expenditures from both Coca-Cola and its bottling partners.
The company's CFO, John Murphy, clarified that the $10 billion is not solely Coca-Cola's capital expenditure, but rather a combined effort with its bottling partners.
This investment is part of the company's efforts to contribute to the US economy. The Coca-Cola system contributes significantly to GDP and supports numerous jobs. According to an independently commissioned study, the system contributed $85 billion to US GDP in one year alone and supported nearly 1 million jobs.
