Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has reported a profit of €991 million at the close of the first half of this year, a 5.8% increase from the same period last year.

The company's revenues grew by 4.4% year-on-year, reaching €10,724 million euros.

The group attributes the improvement in figures to a boom in sales of sugar-free drinks and energy drinks, as well as a boost from the World Cup.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners' CEO, Damian Gammell, described the football competition as 'an excellent commercial execution with outstanding marketing initiatives.'
