The Coca-Cola India Foundation's Anandana initiative has strengthened responsible PET bottle collection during Puri Rath Yatra 2026 in Odisha, India. In partnership with local authorities and stakeholders, over 200 volunteers were deployed to support a cleaner festival experience.

The 'Maidaan Saaf' campaign aims to promote long-term behavior change by encouraging responsible collection and recycling of used PET bottles at high-footfall public gatherings across India.

Through community participation, folk art, and volunteer outreach, the initiative generated awareness and enabled on-ground waste management. 10 Used PET Bottle Collection Centres were set up across key temple and beach locations to encourage responsible collection and recycling.

The campaign collected over 200 metric tonnes of used PET bottles during the Rath Yatra, building on the impact of previous editions in 2024 and 2025.
