The oldest record to fall was set by Veniana Ranadi, who leapt an impressive 5.57 meters in the Girls Junior Long Jump event, surpassing the long-standing mark of 5.30 meters set by Loata Turagavuli in 1981, a record that had stood for 45 years.

Other notable performances included Setareki Dawai's new record of 49.89 meters in the Boys Intermediate Discus Throw, beating Josua Serukilagi’s 2015 mark of 49.35 meters. Sylvia Tagivetaua also made her mark in the Girls Junior 1500 meters, clocking a time of 5 minutes 14.48 seconds to edge past Lilieta Buna’s 2022 record.

The high jump event saw multiple records broken, with Adi Ulamila Reva setting a new Intermediate Girls High Jump record of 1.66 meters and Peter Burese breaking the long-standing Boys Senior High Jump record of 2.09 meters set in 2003.
