Coca-Cola HBC Posts Strong Q2 Results, Buys 75% of CCBA
Coca-Cola HBC AG (LSE:CCH) reported strong first-half (H1) 2026 results, with GAAP net income reaching €524.4 million and revenue increasing by 10.8% to €6.229 billion.
The company also raised its organic EBIT growth guidance for 2026 to 8-10%, citing a strong performance in the first half. Coca-Cola HBC's organic revenue grew by 9.6% in H1, driven in part by World Cup marketing and special packaging initiatives.
In addition to its financial results, Coca-Cola HBC announced that it will acquire 75% of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) in the second half of 2026. The deal is expected to boost earnings multiple over the next 12 months.
The company has also refinanced its debt by issuing €2.1 billion in bonds across three EUR fixed-rate bond tranches, with maturities in 2028, 2030, and 2033. This move canceled bridge facilities and left Coca-Cola HBC with a net debt of €1.4 billion and €4.7 billion in cash.
