Coca-Cola HBC Raises Profit Forecast on Strong Demand and World Cup Sales
Coca-Cola HBC, a Switzerland-based bottler of Coca-Cola beverages in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa, has raised its profit forecast for fiscal 2026 due to strong demand and a boost from World Cup sales.
The company reported comparable operating profit of €760.1 million (USD 876.70 million) for the six months ended July 3, 2026, beating analyst estimates of €731.1 million.
Coca-Cola HBC's CEO Zoran Bogdanovic attributed the success to 'strong partnerships' and successful World Cup activations with customers, including unique fan experiences and special-edition Coca-Cola and Powerade packs.
The company now expects organic operating profit growth of 8% to 10% for fiscal 2026, up from its previous guidance of 7% to 10%, and annual organic revenue growth around the top end of its guidance range of 6% to 7%.
