Coca-Cola Outpaces Rival as Earnings and Sales Surge
Coca-Cola is gaining ground against its rival PepsiCo as strong earnings and an improved outlook boost investor confidence in the beverage giant.
The company reported a 6% increase in organic revenue growth and 5% growth in unit case volume in the second quarter of 2026, while comparable earnings per share rose by 11%. Free cash flow reached $6.9 billion during this period.
Coca-Cola has raised its full-year comparable EPS growth forecast to 9%-10%, which adds to optimism about its future performance.
The company's shares have gained around 33.8% over the past year, significantly outperforming PepsiCo's stock decline of 1.6% during the same period.
