Coca-Cola Personalized Can Tool Rejects Jesus but Allows Satan
A viral video appeared to show Coca-Cola's personalized can tool rejecting phrases about Jesus while allowing users to input 'Satan is good' and other phrases. The claim stems from a consumer who used screengrabs from the company's website in August 2026.
Snopes attempted to test out personalized phrases on cans from Coca-Cola's website but found an error message or that products were 'out of stock.'
Coca-Cola attributed the issue to a glitch in their system and noted that they had turned off the tool. They also stated that customized cans are reviewed before being manufactured, and those with 'phrases featuring religious, political, trademarked, inappropriate, or otherwise restricted terms' will not be produced.
