Coca-Cola is expanding its facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, investing $106 million and purchasing 36 acres of land for a larger facility. This move will establish the site as a hub for Coca-Cola's operations in the region, with orders being built there and shipped out to other locations such as Shreveport, Monroe, and Lake Charles.

The project is expected to create up to 50 new job openings upon completion, which is targeted for October 2028. Groundbreaking will take place in February 2027, marking the beginning of this major expansion.

Alexandria Mayor Jacques Roy has hailed the development as a testament to Coca-Cola's confidence in the community and its workforce.
