Coca-Cola Renews Commitment to HBCU Golf Impact Grant Program
The PGA TOUR and The Coca-Cola Company have continued their partnership on the HBCU Golf Impact Grant program, providing critical funding to Historically Black Colleges and Universities golf teams. For a second year, Coca-Cola has pledged $250,000 for this initiative.
This program is part of the PGA TOUR's Pathway to Progression initiative, which aims to support junior and collegiate golfers from historically underrepresented communities. The funds will be used to support various needs such as facility enhancements, equipment purchases, and tournament entry fees.
Coca-Cola's senior director of cultural marketing, Stephanie Eaddy, stated that the program is 'rooted in the shared belief that talent and potential should not be limited by access or opportunity.' The company believes that by investing in HBCU golf programs, they can create pathways for student-athletes to thrive.
