Coca-Cola Romania Appoints New Leader Amid Organizational Changes
The Coca-Cola Company has announced changes to its leadership team in Romania, appointing Amruta Vaidya as the new General Manager. Vaidya will succeed Mark Docherty, who is moving to a regional role overseeing several European markets from Dublin. The change aims to bring commercial, marketing, and communications teams closer together, with a focus on collaboration and decision-making based on local market realities.
Vaidya has over 20 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, having held leadership positions across various markets, including Norway, Iceland, Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia. She will lead Coca-Cola Romania's next stage of development, working with system partner Coca-Cola HBC Romania to grow the business through new products, innovative campaigns, and memorable experiences.
Florin Vlasceanu has been appointed Senior Director, Customer & Commercial, reporting directly to the General Manager. He brings over 18 years of experience in the FMCG market and will lead the Customer & Commercial team in building strong commercial plans and integrating consumer strategy into market execution.
