Coca-Cola Surges Past Market Average with Strong Earnings Report
Coca-Cola (KO) has outperformed the broader market over the past year, gaining 25.8% while the S&P 500 Index has rallied 22.6%. The beverage giant's shares have continued to rise in 2026, up 24.2% compared to the index's 12.8% gain.
The company reported strong Q2 FY2026 results on July 28, with global unit case volume growing 5% and earnings exceeding expectations. Net revenue increased 6.7% to $13.4 billion, supported by a 4% rise in concentrate sales and 2% growth in price/mix.
Coca-Cola raised its full-year 2026 outlook, expecting organic revenue growth of approximately 5%, up from its previous guidance of 4% to 5%. It also increased its comparable currency-neutral EPS growth outlook to 7% to 8% and lifted its free cash flow forecast to approximately $12.4 billion.
