Coca-Cola Thailand Pokes Fun at Workaholism in New Ads
Coca-Cola Thailand has launched two new films as part of its global campaign to encourage people to set work aside and reconnect with others during mealtimes. The 'The World Will Wait' initiative, a collaboration between Ogilvy Singapore and Ogilvy Thailand, aims to make the table a place where people can switch off from work-related distractions.
The two films, 'The Dentist' and 'The Cable Guy,' feature scenarios where work follows protagonists all the way to the dinner table. The ads poke fun at the idea of bringing work home by taking familiar occupations to increasingly absurd extremes.
'Today, work doesn't end when we leave the office,' said Komkrib Chockchaikatanyu, IMX Director of Creative / Content, Coca-Cola Thailand. 'Coca-Cola has always been part of the moments that bring people together, and 'The World Will Wait' is a reminder to put work aside, share a meal and a Coke, and be present with the people around us.'
