Coca-Cola UNITED Invests $106 Million in Central Louisiana
Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Inc., one of the nation's largest Coca-Cola bottlers and distributors, is investing $106 million in its Central Louisiana operations. The company announced plans to modernize and expand its warehouse and distribution facilities at 7400 Coliseum Blvd. in Alexandria, LA.
The upgrades will bring next-generation automation to the region, increasing efficiency and improving order fulfillment. The project is expected to create 50 direct new jobs with an average annual salary of $65,000, 26% above the average Rapides Parish wage. Additionally, the company will retain its existing workforce of 2,120 employees.
The state of Louisiana offered Coca-Cola UNITED a competitive incentives package that includes LED FastStart and $1 million from the Economic Development Award Program (EDAP) for infrastructure improvements. The project is expected to begin in February 2027, with operations set to start in October 2028.
