Coca-Cola Unveils Simplified Packaging Design with Focus on Brand Distinction
Coca-Cola has rolled out a global update to its packaging design in an effort to simplify its branding and make it easier for consumers to identify products on store shelves.
The new design features Coca-Cola's signature red color, the iconic logo, and the dynamic ribbon, which is now more prominent than ever before.
One of the key goals of this design shift is to differentiate between standard drinks and sugar-free versions. To achieve this, 'Coca-Cola Zero Sugar' products will feature black accents, including a black dynamic ribbon on cans or a black cap on PET and glass bottles.
'Today, consumers recognize brands instantly rather than analyzing them,' said Uljana Oja, Senior Marketing Manager at Coca-Cola. 'We aimed to simplify our visual communication and focus on what is most distinct.'
