Coca-Cola has been a part of everyday life in Nigeria for 75 years. Beyond its iconic beverage, the company's presence in the country extends far beyond the bottle in your hand.

The Coca-Cola System in Nigeria, comprising Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), and The Coca-Cola Foundation, has implemented numerous initiatives to make a positive impact on communities across the country.

One of these efforts focuses on providing clean water to communities that need it most. Through programs like the Strengthening Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (S-WASH) initiative, Coca-Cola and The Coca-Cola Foundation have worked together to address water scarcity issues in regions such as Borno State.

In Borno State, over 16,000 people now have access to safer water thanks to the installation of boreholes and handwashing stations. Local women have taken on roles as volunteer hygiene promoters, while local youth have been trained to maintain these systems.
