Coca-Cola's Economic Impact Soars to $85 Billion in US
The Coca-Cola Company has released a report detailing its significant economic impact on the United States. The study, which measured the company's contributions in 2025, found that the Coca-Cola system contributes approximately $85 billion to the U.S. gross domestic product every year.
This includes supporting nearly one million jobs across the country, from direct jobs within the company to those supported by goods and services it purchases and retailers where its products are sold. The Coca-Cola system also spends around $37 billion with American suppliers, supporting farmers and businesses that source ingredients, produce packaging, and transport beverages.
The company's community programs, run through The Coca-Cola Foundation and the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, contributed $177 million in 2025, including $60 million in education and economic empowerment. The study also found that the Coca-Cola system keeps 98 cents of every dollar spent on its products within the U.S. economy by sourcing, employing, producing, and distributing locally.
