Coca-Cola's dairy unit, Fairlife, has been hit by a ransomware attack, temporarily suspending U.S. production just days before the company's second-quarter earnings report on July 28.

The disruption comes as investors assess recovery efforts and potential financial impact. After detecting unauthorized access, Coca-Cola activated its response plan, enlisting external cybersecurity specialists to investigate the breach.

Fairlife has become one of Coca-Cola's fastest-growing brands, supported by demand for premium dairy beverages and protein products. The company gained full ownership of Fairlife from Select Milk Producers in 2020 for about $7 billion.
