Coca-Cola is facing widespread backlash after it was discovered that its personalized can tool on its website blocks certain words and phrases, sparking outrage among netizens.

The controversy began when consumers noticed that the tool rejected phrases such as 'Jesus is King,' 'Make America Great,' and 'White Lives Matter,' but allowed phrases like 'Allah is King,' 'Satan is King,' and 'Atheist Pride.'

Coca-Cola's representative told Fox News that the tool had a 'technical issue' and it is being worked on, with personalized can orders halted temporarily.

This is not the first time Coca-Cola has faced similar criticism. In 2021, the company had a promotional campaign where people could print their personalized labels on glass Coke bottles, but blocked phrases like 'Black Lives Matter,' 'Gay Pride,' and 'Palestine,' while allowing homophobic phrases.
