Coca-Cola's 'The World Will Wait' Campaign Brings People Together Over Meals
Coca-Cola has launched 'The World Will Wait', a global campaign encouraging people to prioritize shared meals over everyday distractions. The campaign targets Gen Z and Millennial consumers who balance busy careers, family commitments, and digital demands.
The campaign challenges audiences to pause their screens and make time for shared meals, positioning Coca-Cola as the drink that brings people together around the table. Two main films, 'Laptop Face' and 'The Most Important Meeting', portray everyday situations where people choose human connection over work and daily distractions.
Coca-Cola is extending the campaign across social media by reimagining the gaming term 'AFK' (Away From Keyboard) and working with influencers to encourage people to step away from their devices. The campaign also features out-of-home and digital activations with playful messaging that reminds consumers to prioritize togetherness.
'The World Will Wait' is designed to inspire us and remind everyone that some moments are simply too important to postpone, said Arnab Roy, Global Category President of Coca-Cola. The campaign aims to rekindle the joy of shared meals and position Coca-Cola as the perfect companion that brings people together.
