Coco Storytellers Bring Music and Magic to Disney California Adventure

Disney's Plaza de la Familia celebration has returned to Disney California Adventure. The event runs through November 2, 2026, and offers a range of activities including vibrant decorations, live music, crafts, photo opportunities, cuisine, merchandise, and more.

The main entertainment offering is 'The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!,' a retelling of Disney & Pixar's Coco. This show takes place in front of the big entrance sign that says Plaza de la Familia and features a festive travelling troupe of storytellers who come to tell the story of Coco through fun performances, puppets, and favorite songs from the film.

During the performance, guests will hear 'Remember Me,' 'The World Es Mi Familia,' and also the Mexican folk song 'La Llorona.' The show is full of heart and serves as a reminder of the power of familial bonds. It's scheduled to be performed throughout the run of Plaza de la Familia.
