Companies See Significant Bottom-Line Growth in Q2
A recent review of 30 publicly traded companies has revealed a significant improvement in their bottom line. The Q2 10-Q reports, released between June 4 and August 20, show that 22 out of these 30 companies reported year-over-year sales gains.
The median net income growth jumped to 6.3 percent, marking the first time in at least three years for this metric to produce a positive number. Deere Company, Home Depot, and Lowe's contributed positively to the earnings season with sales gains and earnings gains, although Lowe's net income grew by only a slight margin.
