Conair has expanded its recall of Cuisinart-branded grill brushes due to ingestion risks. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that over 3 million additional units are being recalled, bringing the total to 3,625,800.

The original recall in July included 1,719,995 wire bristle grill brushes. This new expansion adds another 1,905,805 brushes, covering all Cuisinart-branded wire bristle grill brushes with plastic, steel, or wood handles.

These products were sold at various retailers, including Walmart and TJ Maxx stores, as well as online through Amazon.com and Cuisinart.com. Prices ranged from $8 to $20.

The CPSC warned that there have been 54 reports of wire bristles detaching from the brushes, with three cases where consumers ingested metal bristles and required medical treatment.
