Cookeville Welcomes New Home Depot: 115 Employees Hired for October Opening

Home Depot has announced that its new store in Cookeville, Tennessee will open on October 8 at The Willows. The company has already hired 115 employees for the location, which is set to be one of the largest Home Depots built in the past 18 years.

The construction on the new store is nearing completion, with inventory and expert support being moved closer to the nation's fastest-growing regions. Store Manager Mike Walsh provided an update on the project during a recent tour by former Cookeville Mayor Ricky Shelton and Cookeville Vice Mayor Luke Eldridge.

The Willows development will also feature Target, In-N-Out, McDonald's, and additional tenants expected to be announced in the future. This marks a significant investment in the local community, bringing jobs and economic growth to the area.
