Copilot AI Sees Quiet Bitcoin Rally Building to $200K Peak
Microsoft's Copilot AI is predicting a quiet rally in Bitcoin, anticipating that it will reach a peak of $150K to $200K by the end of 2026. The prediction is based on an imbalance between supply and demand, with roughly 450 new coins entering circulation each day while demand absorbs several times that amount.
The AI model suggests that this imbalance drives a structurally higher cycle peak, which will be fueled by spot ETF inflows and corporate treasury adoption. Currently, there are over 500,000 BTC held on balance sheets, with few of these coins returning to the market.
A supply squeeze is also expected to contribute to the price increase, as the post-halving issuance has fallen to roughly 450 BTC per day against demand running at multiples of that figure. Regulatory clarity across the U.S., EU, and Asia is also seen as a positive factor, while rate cuts and fiat instability provide macro tailwinds.
However, there are potential downsides to consider: persistent inflation could delay the easing cycle entirely, restrictive monetary policy could compound this problem, or sudden regulatory shocks could cap upside near $90K to $100K. In its base case scenario, Copilot settles on a balanced prediction of $120K to $150K, with extreme scenarios pointing toward $200K to $250K if supply deficits persist.
