CoreWeave Deploys Nvidia's Vera Rubin Platform, Driving AI Infrastructure Innovation
CoreWeave has become the first AI cloud provider to deploy Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform. This includes full system-level validation of the rack-scale architecture and broadens the company's support for Nvidia's latest AI hardware.
The deployment was made possible by patent-pending innovations like Valvey and Racky, which enable Vera Rubin to perform at production scale for demanding AI teams. The company added that this will help deliver better results for its customers, due to the power and performance abilities of Vera Rubin.
CoreWeave's Vera Rubin deployment incorporates Micron Technology Inc.'s 7600 SSDs, offering enhanced energy efficiency as part of one of the industry's first rack-scale liquid-cooled NVMe storage solutions.
Nvidia announced that the Vera Rubin platform has entered full production ramp. The company stated that Vera Rubin-based systems are now being manufactured at scale by Taiwan's top server makers and global supply chain leaders, supporting AI labs, cloud providers, and hyperscalers as they develop the next wave of artificial intelligence.
Dell Technologies Inc. delivered the world's first Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 server rack to CoreWeave. The company's shares were up more than 5% in Monday's pre-market session, while Dell shares were up about 1%.
