Corient Private Wealth LP Snaps Up Huge Stake in American Express

Corient Private Wealth LP significantly increased its stake in American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) during the second quarter, purchasing an additional 3,965,582 shares. This brought their total holdings to 4,771,292 shares, valued at $1.61 billion.

The investment firm now owns approximately 0.71% of American Express's outstanding stock and considers it its 17th biggest position among all its investments.

Corient Private Wealth LP is not alone in its enthusiasm for American Express, as several other hedge funds have also been buying into the company.
