CPPIB Buys Significant Stake in Travelers Companies for Over $100 Million

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board has acquired a new stake in The Travelers Companies, Inc. ($TRV), purchasing 317,336 shares of the insurance provider's stock.

The value of the purchase is approximately $104,759,000.

This represents around 0.15% of Travelers Companies' outstanding shares as of its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The company recently reported a quarterly dividend of $1.25 per share, paid on September 30th to investors who held shares by September 10th.
