Crackling Audio Bug Hits Google Pixel 11 Pro Owners Ahead of Fix

The Google Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL have been plagued by a software bug that causes crackling, popping, or static bursts in audio recordings.

The issue is reportedly connected to Google's Video Boost feature, which uses AI to enhance video quality. Users note that the problem occurs most frequently during 4K recordings at 60 frames per second and sometimes in standard resolutions.

To mitigate the issue, some users have found temporary solutions such as turning off Audio Zoom, clearing the Google Camera app cache, or recording in 4K at 30fps. However, these fixes do not appear to work for everyone, and the problem often recurs later.

Google acknowledged the bug on Monday and assured that a fix is on its way. The company plans to release the update through the Camera app within the coming weeks, with additional performance optimizations expected in an upcoming Android update.
