Cramer Sees Magnificent Seven Revival Amid AI Growth
Jim Cramer is advocating for investors to 'buy the Magnificent Seven again', arguing that several of the stocks have become cheaper as their massive AI investments start generating stronger growth.
Cramer called six out of the seven 'forlorn losers,' with Apple being the exception. He claimed that investors have moved on to other stocks even though businesses such as cloud computing and AI continue to grow.
The core of Cramer's bet is that investors punished the Magnificent Seven for the cost of the AI buildout, but may now be underestimating how quickly that spending can turn into revenue. He pointed out that Amazon saw AWS revenue jump 37% to $42.2 billion last quarter, its fastest growth in 18 quarters.
Microsoft saw Azure growth accelerate to 43%, while Alphabet posted 82% Cloud revenue growth. Cramer's call is for a broader Magnificent Seven revival, but higher rates could complicate the bet. A stronger economy and rising interest rates typically put pressure on expensive technology stocks.
