Crash-Ready Stocks: TSM, Alphabet, Amazon Top Investor's List
Investors need to be prepared for any market downturn by having a list of stocks ready to buy, according to Keithen Drury. He names three stocks that he would prioritize in this situation: Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM), Alphabet (GOOG and GOOGL), and Amazon (AMZN).
Taiwan Semiconductor is the world's largest chip manufacturer, supplying chips for nearly every advanced electronic device. Its position makes it a safe bet, as it's a bet on advanced technology that will be needed in greater quantities.
Alphabet operates Google Search, which is an advertising cash cow, and its cloud computing division, Google Cloud, receives continuous revenue from usage-based charges. Amazon has a strong commerce business and a thriving cloud computing segment, Amazon Web Services (AWS), that's growing rapidly.
