Curry Edition Pixel Watch 5 Priced at $579.99 with Wear-Off Water Repellent Coating

Google's upcoming Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Special Edition is priced at €579.99 in Europe, which is about €31 more expensive than the regular 45mm LTE model.

The special edition is based on the same hardware as the standard Pixel Watch 5, including a Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip, 64GB storage, and a 465mAh battery rated for up to 40 hours of use.

The main difference between the two models is the Stephen Curry-branded Sport Band, which is water-repellent but has a coating that will eventually wear off with normal use.

Google's own technical material states that the water-repellent coating can diminish or disappear over time due to environmental exposure and regular use.
