Cymbiotika Lands New Funding as Premium Supplement Market Accelerates
Cymbiotika, a liposomal supplement brand based in San Diego, has secured new funding from US-based influencer and entrepreneur Alix Earle. The investment was not disclosed, but Earle joins a list of high-profile investors who have backed the company, including Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Zac Efron, Steve Aoki, and Peggy Gou.
Cymbiotika has experienced rapid growth since its founding in 2019, generating $150 million in revenue last year. The brand offers a range of flavoured liquid supplements sold in single-serving liposomal packs, with prices ranging from £58.95 to £79.95 per month's supply.
The company has expanded its reach through direct-to-consumer sales on its website and partnerships with major retailers such as Target and Ulta Beauty. Cymbiotika's success reflects a growing trend of investment in the premium supplement market, with companies like David Beckham's IM8 and Procter & Gamble's acquisition of Thorne securing significant funding.
Smaller specialist businesses are also attracting attention, with UK fertility supplement brand OVA raising over $1 million in pre-seed investment to support product development and wider retail distribution. As the market continues to grow, premium brands like LYMA are expanding into new supplement segments, such as gut health products.
