D23 Event Unveils New Disney Movies, Shows, Experiences

The D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is set to kick off on August 14-16, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center. This year's event promises to be bigger than ever, with over 50 immersive booths showcasing Disney movie and show memorabilia, as well as a sneak peek at new Disney movies, shows, experiences, and products coming soon.

According to Asad Ayaz, chief marketing and brand officer for The Walt Disney Company, the event will feature Easter eggs sprinkled throughout, including props from movies like 'The Devil Wears Prada' and shows such as 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' and 'Hannah Montana'.

Ayaz also mentioned that fans will see characters that haven't been announced yet and a lot of Disney history celebrated at the event. The Pixar pavilion will feature storyboards, original artwork, and stories about how these characters came to be.
