Daiichi Sankyo has named Ken Keller as its new Chief Commercialisation Officer. Keller, who will take over in April 2027, is a veteran of the pharmaceutical industry with more than 20 years of experience at Amgen.

Keller has been leading Daiichi Sankyo's global oncology business for the past five years and was previously President and CEO of American Regent, a subsidiary. In his new role, he will oversee an entirely new commercial unit that centralises resources across five regions to support 20 planned indication launches by 2030.

The company aims to become a global top-five oncology leader by 2035, with revenue from its oncology business expected to reach JPY2.3 trillion ($14.45 billion) by 2030. Keller's commercial unit will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.
