Dakota's Salesforce Integration Gets a Major Boost with V4.0 Release
The latest version of Dakota's Marketplace for Salesforce has brought significant improvements to its search functionality. Before version 4.0, users could only search for accounts and contacts within the platform. However, with V4.0, this gap has been closed by adding eleven new search tabs directly inside Salesforce.
One of these new datasets is the 'All Documents' tab, which is essentially a rename of the existing Manager Presentations tab rather than an entirely new dataset. This leaves ten genuinely new datasets that users can now search without leaving their CRM.
The new datasets include Private Fund records covering strategy, vintage, and size; Fund Launches to track newly launched funds; Pension Documents for public pension board meeting minutes and materials; Fund Presentations for fund overview and update presentations; Consultant Reviews for manager research and reviews written by investment consultants; Hedge Fund Performance metrics, including Net IRR, TVPI, and DPI; Private Fund Performance extending these performance metrics to private funds more broadly; Private Companies with a Deal Profile section built specifically for private companies; Alumni Network for education and career history; and Earnings Intelligence to surface earnings-related signals on covered companies.
