Daniels Conquers Springfield Mile I to Clinch Second-Consecutive Grand National Championship Title
Dallas Daniels secured his second-consecutive Grand National Championship title at the Caterpillar Springfield Mile I, held on September 5, 2026. The Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07 rider finished with a total of (2-1-2) and an unassailable 27-point lead over Briar Bauman in the championship standings.
In the Main Event 1, Daniels edged out Trent Lowe by just 0.059 seconds to claim second place, while Fisher took the win with an impressive late-race surge. The three-time Grand National Champion continued his dominance throughout the weekend, winning a fourth consecutive event and moving him equal with Bauman at six wins on the season.
Daniels praised his team, saying, 'I want to thank my whole team. The Estenson Racing Monster Energy Yamaha team, Tommy Hayden and Tim Estenson, gave me the opportunity of a lifetime to come out here and do what I love and make a living doing it.' He also acknowledged the competition, stating, 'It was a tough year. It was really long, and it was hard. The guys I'm racing against are so good.'
