Danske Raises Finland GDP Forecast on $15 Billion Google Investment
Danske Bank A/S has upgraded its forecast for Finland's GDP growth in 2027 after Google announced a massive investment in AI infrastructure.
The bank now expects Finland's gross domestic product to grow by 2.1% next year, up from an initial projection of 1.4%. This prediction is significantly higher than the median estimate of 1.3% compiled by Bloomberg before the investment was announced.
The €13 billion investment in AI infrastructure by Alphabet Inc.'s Google is expected to boost Finland's economy, making it grow at its fastest pace in six years.
