Darwinbox Brings AI-Powered HR to Slack Threads

Darwinbox Cortex, an AI-native human capital management (HCM) platform, is now available on Slack, a Salesforce company. The integration allows Darwinbox customers to retrieve workforce data and complete approvals directly within Slack threads.

This means employees can ask questions, request time off, or submit expenses without leaving their workflow. Cortex understands natural language requests and executes workflows accordingly, confirming outcomes in the same thread.

The platform's features include onboarding as a conversation, where new hires can move through compliance and documentation processes directly within Slack. Progress is tracked simultaneously in Darwinbox, with nudges raised when steps stall.

Darwinbox Co-founder Chaitanya Peddi stated that the company built Cortex on the premise of taking HR software to employees, rather than requiring them to come to it. This integration removes barriers and makes the platform smarter for the organization as a whole.
