Datadog and Honeywell Aerospace Shares Plummet Amid Earnings Disappointments
Datadog (DDOG) shares slumped by 19% to close at $229.29, reversing some of their recent gains. The security platform provider's stock price has more than doubled since April.
The company posted strong second-quarter results, with non-GAAP EPS growth of 41% year-over-year (Y/Y) to $0.65 and revenue increasing by 36% Y/Y to $1.12 billion.
Datadog's updated 2026 revenue forecast was also raised to up to $4.47 billion, but this may have contributed to the stock price drop as it implies a forward price-to-earnings ratio of around 100 times.
