Davido Doubts Other Politicians Can Match Peter Obi's Wealth Transparency
Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido recently weighed in on an old video featuring Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra State.
In the video, Obi discussed his wealth and business history, showcasing exclusive credit cards including the American Express Platinum Card, which was introduced in 1987 for a limited group of 5,000 individuals.
Obi also mentioned the existence of the Black Card, or Centurion Card, which debuted in 1999, available to just 1,000 people globally. He stated that he had a successful business prior to his political career but entering politics negatively impacted his finances.
Rufai Oseni, a journalist, shared this video on X, urging Nigerian politicians to be transparent about their wealth accumulation. Davido quoted Oseni's post, making his stance clear with the remark: 'None of them can try it.'
