Davidson Investment Advisors has increased its stake in Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) by 17% during the second quarter, according to a recent SEC filing. The firm's total holdings in Visa now amount to $35.04 million. This represents about 1.4% of Davidson Investment Advisors' portfolio.

In addition to Davidson Investment Advisors, other institutional investors have also modified their holdings in Visa. Brighton Jones LLC boosted its stake by 50.1% during the fourth quarter, while Revolve Wealth Partners LLC increased its holdings by 68.9%. Nicholas Hoffman & Company LLC. and Matrix Asset Advisors Inc. NY also made similar moves.

The increase in institutional ownership is a positive sign for Visa's stock performance. However, some analysts have raised concerns about the company's valuation, citing a price-to-earnings ratio of 32.45, which may be vulnerable to profit-taking or disappointing execution.
