DE-CIX Boosts Microsoft Azure Resilience with Global Dual-Homed Architecture
DE-CIX has expanded its Microsoft Azure connectivity across North America, Europe, and Asia. The company introduced a dual-homed architecture designed to improve resilience for enterprise applications and latency-sensitive AI workloads.
The new architecture uses georedundant Azure ExpressRoute Metro connections in cities worldwide. This provides greater availability and resilience for critical enterprise applications and AI workloads running on Microsoft Azure.
DE-CIX operates 29 on-ramps to Azure across 24 cities globally. Customers can access the infrastructure remotely from DE-CIX exchange locations through its global backbone.
