Dell's Iconic XPS Lineup May Be Headed to Google's Laptop Ecosystem

Dell may be considering joining Google's laptop ecosystem by introducing its XPS lineup to the platform, according to a recent benchmark leak.

The leaked information suggests that Dell could become one of several hardware partners supporting Google's new laptop ecosystem, alongside companies such as Lenovo and Asus.

The suspected device is believed to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processor, rather than the newer Snapdragon X2 Elite platform, which would provide 16GB or 32GB of RAM for demanding everyday workloads and multitasking.

The display could feature a 13.4-inch OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 2,880 by 1,800 pixels, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and two USB-C ports.

An XPS Googlebook would represent a significant shift for Dell, as the XPS name has been closely tied to its Windows portfolio for years and is one of the company's best-known premium laptop lines.
