Delta Sky Club's Free Premium Drink Promotion: A Blast from the Past

Delta's Sky Club airport lounges once offered a popular promotion for loyal SkyMiles members. Between November and early January, cardholders of Delta SkyMiles American Express Cards could enjoy one premium alcoholic beverage per visit to the lounge.

The lounges feature complimentary house and well booze offerings, but if you want something more upscale, like Silver Oak or Woodford Reserve, you'll have to pay extra.

The promotion was per member, not per card, so having multiple cards didn't entitle you to double free drinks. Bartenders kept track of cardmember names during the promotion.
