Deutsche Bank Boosts Stake in Amgen, Analysts Raise Price Targets

Deutsche Bank AG increased its stake in Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ: AMGN) by 4.4% in the second quarter, according to a recent Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The firm purchased an additional 99,946 shares during this period, bringing its total ownership of Amgen's stock to 2,355,705 shares.

This represents approximately 0.44% of Amgen's outstanding shares, valued at $853 million as of the company's most recent filing with the SEC. Other large investors have also increased their stakes in Amgen during this quarter, including Norges Bank, which purchased a new position worth $2.16 billion.

Analysts are optimistic about Amgen's growth prospects, with several firms raising their price targets for the company's stock. UBS Group upped its target to $440 from $420, while Truist Financial lifted its target to $362 from $340.
