DHL Takes First Boeing 777-200LRMF Freighters From Mammoth
DHL Aviation has taken delivery of its first Boeing 777-200LRMF freighter from Mammoth Freighters. The aircraft, registered as G-DHMH, was handed over to Jetran on August 21, 2026, and will be operated by DHL Air (UK) from East Midlands Airport in Nottinghamshire.
The delivery marks the first of more than two dozen Mammoth 777-200LRMF freighters ordered by Jetran, with 13 of them expected to enter revenue service within DHL's global network. Qatar Airways Cargo has also signed up to lease five 777-200LRMFs from Jetran.
According to a July 24, 2026 statement from DHL, four 777-200LRMFs are expected to join the fleet by the end of 2026. Mammoth Freighters announced in a May 1, 2025 press release that Qatar Airways Cargo had signed up for the leases.
Jetran has placed the converted aircraft with DHL Aviation, which joins the company's existing fleet of six Boeing 777F production freighters, eight converted 767Fs, and four converted 757Fs operating from East Midlands Airport.
