DHS Walks Back Voter Fraud Claims, Officials Say 'Bulls**t' Efforts Continue
Nevada's top election official called out the Trump administration's claims of widespread voter fraud after it was revealed that the Department of Homeland Security had significantly downgraded its initial estimate.
In a virtual meeting with Nevada officials, DHS disclosed that they found only 185 'potential' noncitizens on the state's voter rolls, far from their initial claim of nearly 16,000.
Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar (D) blasted the administration's efforts to police state voter rolls as 'bulls**t,' stating that the discrepancy between the two figures was evidence of a larger goal to disenfranchise eligible voters.
