Diana Mae Brunson Passes Away at Age 65

Diana Mae Brunson, a 65-year-old wife and mother of three, passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 65. Born in McArthur, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert Fulton and Loretta Fulton. Brunson graduated from Vinton County High School in 1979 and had a diverse career, retiring from both the USAF and Caterpillar Inc.

In addition to her work life, Brunson was an avid quilter and collector of vintage sewing machines. She leaves behind her husband, William E. Brunson, three children, nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The visitation for Brunson will be held on August 28, 2026, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home from 3 to 5 P.M.
