Diane Frances Kolisz, Beloved Delaware Resident, Passes Away at 79

Diane Frances Kolisz, a 79-year-old woman from Middletown, DE, passed away on September 3, 2026. Born in Yonkers, NY on April 26, 1947, she was the daughter of Edward M. and Isabelle J. (DeRoberts) Carroll. Diane graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers in 1965.

She joined the Civil Air Patrol in high school, where she met her future husband Walter. After graduating from Berkeley College in 1966, Diane worked for several companies, including Pepperidge Farm and IBM, spending most of her career as a property manager.

She was an active member of the Delaware Republican Club and the Delaware Women's Republican Club, serving as a delegate for several elections. Diane also coordinated community clubs, including Mahjong, while living in Bayberry South.
